These girls are a God send!!! I've never been comfortable with day care. I'm a stay at home mommy and recently was required to go out of town for an extended period of time and needed to find a day care I could trust. I called many different places, was referred by friends to many different places and non of them worked out. They either made me feel completely uncomfortable or just didn't call me back. Sarah and Megan were responsive and welcoming from the very beginning. My two year old son felt right at home from the first moment he walked in the door. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do to have my son be away from me at all, but they made it the easiest transition for me. They genuinely love and care for my son as they do for their own children and I feel blessed to have these women in my life! This is more than a day care! These women are impacting children and families in a positive way and it's extremely refreshing in such a hostile world!!

Kids Cove is amazing. I thought it was going to be difficult to go back to work but Sarah & Megan made the transition smooth. My daughter Emilya loves waking up in the morning wanting to go to school like her siblings. I was originally looking at Montessori schools because they promote natural child learning & I didn't consider home daycare's because I was new to the Elk Grove area but I'm glad I looked outside of my comfort zone. Kids Cove is a gem. I love their creative activities, they promote natural learning, & they have helped me with my daughters individual needs. I completely recommend Kids Cove; their quality of care they give is priceless.

Dear Kids Cove: I heard today is Quinn’s last day as she enters into Kindergarten. I just want to thank you Megan Lea and Sarah Lea for taking such good care of her. You loved, you taught, you protected, you coached, you entertained, and made sure she ate well and got lots of exercise, and you did it with all your heart - not just for her but all your children there. As a grandma I will forever be grateful because these early years are so important. I know you guys will be a big reason why she will adjust so well to kindergarten. As long as you are in business Kids Cove will be the only place I will ever be able to recommend because you truly are the best.

Our son loves going to Kid's Cove! Which says a lot for our serious toddler. He was previously in a large daycare center. He cried everyday at drop off. At kid's Cove he just walks right in with confidence and doesn't even look back! I highly reccomend this daycare! We couldn't be happier with the safe, fun, loving and active environment that Megan and Sarah provide. We are so very thankful to have found them. Our son attended Kids Cove from age 18 months to 4.5 years old. We were new to the area and tried a daycare center first, which was not a good fit. We then came across Kids Cove- and are so happy we did! Hands down the best daycare we have been a part of (we have 2 older children). The positive, patient, safe, loving, exploratory learning environment they offer is just exceptional. The children are able to be who they are, taught to problem solve, and learn through discovery. The outdoor classroom (that they offered long before COVID) is so much fun for the kids. They really make each child feel special. Our son was very reserved/slow to warm up and he just blossomed. I highly recommend Kids Cove to anyone looking for daycare in Elk Grove.

We're so happy with our new Daycare! Miss Sarah and Miss Megan are the best! We get an email of her daily activities, food, naps and even bowel movements! :) They're constantly keeping Adalynn busy with tons of educational and fun activities! Money well spent! She is always happy when we come and pick her up! We love the organization with a whole laid out calendar of the year, planned field trips (that we can attend), and up to date paperwork to know more about our daughter. Not to mention they keep their own personnel education up to date. Would totally recommend them!

Teacher appreciation day is coming up and I just realized I've never given a formal review for this magical place I am so grateful for!
This is by far the best childcare experience we've ever had between our 3 children. I have never felt so at ease leaving my child in another person's hands. My daughter is excited every morning to go to "Ms. Sarah's" to play, knowing that there's lots of fun in store for her each day. She has been there for almost a year now.
Sarah's dedication to the children and families in her care and the quality of her program is evident with the amount of time she puts in for professional development and training opportunities. She regularly seeks to build her skills and to adapt to the children in her care. She willingly participates in programs that create a lot of accountability on her part, above and beyond what is expected from licensing.
Looking around at her space is also evidence of her dedication and hard work. She puts an incredible amount of thought and creativity into their play space. There is something for everyone! It promotes healthy exploration and natural learning opportunities. She is a genius at this!

This day care/preschool is phenomenal! As a kindergarten teacher and a super concerned parent; I was nervous about putting my two children into daycare for the first time. My daughter had just turned three and my son was almost one. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Megan made us feel welcome from the first time we met them. The facility is clean, organized and welcoming. The teachers are very knowledgeable about appropriate child development skills and gear their programs to help all the kids grow socially and academically. The children do circle time everyday, show and tell, monthly themes, as well as field trips and performances! Ms. Sara and Ms. Megan are the absolute best! They have genuine love and concern for each child and pride in running an incredible program. I consider myself lucky to have found Kid's cove!

My 4 yo son attended Kid's Cove for over a year. I highly recommend this daycare. I have honestly never seen such genuine care and concern for the kids development. The activities and stimulating fun is endless. Something new every day. The facility is laid out well and is just a really fun environment. The kids go on awesome field trips and outings and the parents can attend. I really enjoyed participating when time allowed. Especially the birthday circle. It was a memorable moment as a parent. They worked with me to sort out normal 3 year old tantrums and helped me be a better parent with the amazing child development skills they have. This is a very high quality daycare that rivals the larger facilities. Outshines them really with the genuine love you can see in what they do. The kids are encouraged to have fun and will learn valuable development skills while doing so. Kid's Cove is a first class daycare. I am eternally grateful for how they cared for and guided my son. Choosing a daycare can be a scary thing, I went through that every time. Kid's Cove is by far the best experience I have had for daycare!

Our daughter has attended Kids Cove for three years now and we could not be more impressed! Sarah and Megan go above and beyond meeting our daughter's needs. She is provided with healthy meals and snacks, a safe and comfortable play environment with a large variety of toys and play structures, a cozy place for nap-time and an academic component like no other child care in our area. They offer music programs, on-site, age-appropriate educational presentations and several off-site field trips throughout the year. Kids Cove is absolutely amazing! Sarah and Megan are so fun and loving with all the kids. My 2 year old daughter learned so much while she was in their care. Not only did they help in transitioning her from a sippy cup to a regular cup, and out of a crib into her "big girl" bed, they also potty trained her, taught her all her shapes, countless songs and nursery rhymes, and how to count to 20! They are flexible and I was always able to count on their help when my work hours changed and I needed to leave my daughter longer. They even took my older kids during school breaks! They always have fun learning activities planned for the kids and cute monthly themes. My daughter loved bringing home all her projects and was very proud of the things she made in school. Not only are Megan and Sarah extremely caring and loving with all of the kids, they keep the environment the kids are in clean, safe and organized. Kids Cove is hands down, the best daycare we could have chosen for our kids!

I'm not sure if I can even put down in words how lucky I am to have met Sarah and Meghan! I had to go back to work when my son was 6 months old and I thought it was going to be the hardest thing in the world to do! Having them as the people who care for him while I work has made it so easy to do! As soon as I arrive, he smiles and reaches out for them. He has NEVER cried when I drop him off, to me that proves that he feels so much love from them and he feels a similar comfort being there as he does at his very own Mommy and Daddy's home. That's HUGE! They share photos throughout the day so I can see what he is doing and even though he is the youngest one there, he gets to do almost everything else the older ones do! It's helping him grow to be an independent and advanced little guy and I am so proud! You can tell the other parents feel the same way because they are so kind and smiley while dropping and picking up their own kids which makes the overall energy great! Kid's Cove is an absolutely amazing place for kids to grow and learn while being so loved!

Our son began attending Kid’s Cove when he turned one and it was the best decision we could have made for him. Initially, I had so many fears about going back to work and sending him to childcare, but I felt instantly at ease once I met Sarah and Megan and saw their school. Kids Cove shares so many of the same values that are important to us as parents - kindness, patience, free play, exploration, creativity, and friendship. Some of my favorite features about Kids Cove curriculum is all the outside play, walks/park days, and they’re not afraid to get messy! Most importantly, Sarah has been so flexible and adaptive throughout our sons development. Sarah has helped him with appropriate coping skills, initiating peer play, and building up his confidence. She is so patient and compassionate if he needs extra support on some days and she maintains consistent communication with us. Sarah has a beautiful way of respecting individuality and recognizing little moments of growth, and fosters such an enriching environment that has made our son ready for Kindergarten. We can’t thank Kids Cove enough.

Sarah is amazing. When I would pick up my daughter she was always happy, smiling and didn’t want to leave her friends. She has become so much more creative and independent. Love her outdoor play area and that my daughter came home happy from a long day of play.

My son has thrived at Kid's Cove for over 4 years now, and it would be an understatement to say this business is just a daycare. They have been such a joy to have as part of my son's development and have been integral to his imagination and understanding towards the social dynamics of his age group. The learning atmosphere is centered on creativity, and gently guides his behaviors towards both an individualistic and collective approach. The patience and keen awareness to his particularities have always been deeply appreciated aspects of the Kid's Cove pedagogy. This level of care and attention goes beyond what might be expected from other daycare providers, and I will always hold dear all that has been invested and nurtured here. As a first time parent & previous preschool teacher I was worried I wouldn’t find a daycare within our budget that I felt comfortable with. Then I found Kids Cove. What an amazing place with amazing people. Teacher Sarah is the child whisperer and my daughter has absolutely loved her since the first day she started at one years old. 1.5 years later and she is still so excited to go to school each day and see Teacher Sarah. My daughter has learned SO much there and continues to thrive in the environment Sarah and Megan have created. Each day I drop her off, I know she is getting the best care, love, attention and education there is! There isn’t another daycare or center in town that I would ever send my daughter to after finding Kids Cove.

I would recommend Kid’s Cove too anybody looking for child care. Such a great, fun environment for your little ones & let me tell you, once they start going it will be so hard to make them want to leave. Sarah is amazing, she always gives you updates to make you feel comfy through out the day and she always makes sure to post on the business Facebook page on what they do on a daily. My daughter really enjoys going here & never has nothing bad to say. If you choose Kid’s Cove for child care I promise you will not look back.
